Got most of the way through the show tonight, into the homestretch, when a table collapsed underneath King Lear in IV.vii.

Could. Not. Stop. Laughing.

Tried to cover by pretending to do the Cordelia-appropriate thing (cry), but not sure it worked.

So embarassed.

And so stunned that a table broke under the King, who is teeny.

Aww, he didn't break one for us.
Maybe someone averted disaster by wishing him, "break a table leg!" before he went on stage.
