- Have corrupt weasel as brand new senator.
- Daycare search runs slightly aground. Helpful neighbors busy with birthday party, preschool wait list coordinator out for the day, reasonably located alternate pre-school with cool playground does not have working phone number on website.
- Baby remains determined to increase efficiency by large-batch processing, with gruesome results. Have added five bucks to my therapy fund.
+ Freshly bathed baby smells delicious.
+ All sheets and changing pads have been changed.
+ Lunch w/friend.
+ Loan of pre-vetted romance novel.
+ Made yummy dinner with minimal effort.
+ Child is sunny and cheerful on daycare pickup.
- Child walks out front gate of daycare straight into epic tantrum-generating field, begins making non-sensical demands, and literally kicks and screams the whole way home.
+ Child recovers usual good nature once fed.
- And resists bedtime with the determination that Churchill attributed to the entire population of Britain.
+ Email to cute preschool yields response - there are spaces and no wait list, please come visit. Also, includes working phone number.

As opposed to the other, corrupt weasel who isn't your senator. Honestly, if you're going to pick a corrupt weasel for the Senate, at least you picked the one who stopped nationalized health care.
