I just got a phone call and an email from one of those work at home opportunities that promises you the secrets to getting rich. I spent five minutes on the phone and two on the website.

I am going to go disinfect myself now, before I touch the baby.

Good grief

Buy a video, and then sell videos to other suckers on commission, and pay to attend conferences where "inspirational" speakers will instruct me in the magic secret steps I have to take to get rich.

That's easy-- get people to pay to see YOU speak to learn how they can get rich.

If those speakers were as rich as they claim, they wouldn't be speaking all the time. I remember hearing some Amway guys talking about the freedom to have time -- and then turn around and have action packed calendars. They were making money, sure.... but THAT was their new job and not the "supplemental income" they promised...

Was this the "place ads in the paper for our product at YOUR expense"?

or the "transfer money through your bank accounts on our behalf and keep a small percentage"?

Which scam did you see?
