On Wednesday morning, when we took Danger Lad! to daycare, a little girl rushed up to him. She lit up like a sunny day, gave an adorable flirt of her sundress, and said hi. Danger Lad! burrowed into my neck, saying "I scared Jenaya, Mommy!"
This morning, I brought out the Batman shirt I bought for DL! a week or so ago. He was delighted to see it. He held it and cuddled it, and then held it out away from him for a scold. "No flyin', Batman! Uh-uh. I don't sink so!"
Jenaya, age 2.5 = a highly finished and alarming piece of nature, from which he must be protected.
Batman = yelled at and sent to sit in the corner.
Also, I have boots in the mudroom. Film at eleven.
