Things I Like:
- Cake with caramel sauce. It makes life good. I do not understand why, in a world with caramel sauce, there is not peace.
- Infant Tylenol. How does it work so very well? One dose, twenty minutes, and there we are: fever reduced, pain relieved.
Things That Make It Hard To Put the Baby to Bed:
- Infant Tylenol. Once he feels better, he's wide awake.
- Humidity. Uncomfortable for everyone, and it makes the door stick in the frame, guaranteeing loud noises as I exit the room. (If we leave the door ajar, he will never sleep, because he will be too busy squealing at the cat.)
- My toes. I have sprained them too often, and now, in certain weather (see: Humidity), they make a noise like the death of hope with nearly every step.
Things That Make It Hard To Pay Attention in Class:
- My toes. They keep making that sound.
- Getting up at five in the morning.
- The truly hideous breakfast options available in the student store (muffins in plastic wrap - ick).
- An insufficiency of tea.
Things I Have to Deal With:
- Scads of homework.
- International Business professor with unintelligible accent.
- Business Law professor who threatens to douse anyone who answers a cell phone in class. (I'll step into the hall, but we need to talk about this.)
- The university system that still believes I will be receiving a certificate in American Sign Language next month.
