Jul. 27th, 2009 09:35 pmI have a job interview on Thursday, for a job I would like to have.
I have nothing to wear. Last time I was this pregnant, it was December. I do still have some clothes, but it's 90 here today, and humid, and there's really no parking options near this office, so I'd like something in which I do not wilt, but under which I can wear a bra. This doesn't seem like too terribly tall an order, but I am not managing to figure out where these things can be acquired.
Seriously. So far as I can tell, the recession has taken out all maternity shops except for Motherhood (where I can find all the camo cargo capris my heart desires), and Pea in the Pod (who have a basic business model of taking all your money in return for a very small shirt). I am not a big fan of the notion that I could pay for overnight shipping and wind up with things I cannot wear. And when I think about running around town to hit department stores tomorrow, I'm tired already.
Whinge.
