Apr. 11th, 2006 11:08 amI met the cutest dog last night - a 14-week old mutt with some obvious retriever in his ancestry. He was just getting the hang of the whole "taking a human for walks" thing, and he was so excited to be out.
I want a dog. Only I don't want a dog all the time. I want a dog to go running with when the weather is nice. I think the ideal solution would be the ZipCar of pet ownership - ZipDog! - a dog I could rent by the hour whenever I wanted or needed one. I think lots of people could benefit from having a dog they could take out jogging, or play frisbee with on the beach, or use as bait when trolling the park to meet boys/girls.
