It Figures

I did not bring my new, fabulously lightweight textbooks to work this morning, assuming that there would be no need. Now I am in the midst of a fantabulously boring day, with the knowledge that the rest of the week will be crowded and hectic (my boss will be in and generating work, whereas today he is on planes, unable to reach me and therefore unable to generate things for me to do), and nothing to entertain me except the large print edition of Justice Hall.

Do not post things you hope will be recognized and celebrated as funny on the weekends. No one sees them.

Same goes for invitations to sushi. On Friday. Anyone interested? Besides that cool guy from hundreds of miles away?

Also: I can see out my window that ruffly, tiered cotton skirts are back in fashion. I should not under any circumstances join this trend, because these skirts have a malign tendency to be transparent. I have seen straight through about five of these on women passing by on the street, and it's a grey day, and I'm on the fourth floor.
