Self,

Do not post things you hope will be recognized and celebrated as funny on the weekends. No one sees them.

Same goes for invitations to sushi. On Friday. Anyone interested? Besides that cool guy from hundreds of miles away?

Also: I can see out my window that ruffly, tiered cotton skirts are back in fashion. I should not under any circumstances join this trend, because these skirts have a malign tendency to be transparent. I have seen straight through about five of these on women passing by on the street, and it's a grey day, and I'm on the fourth floor.

I would TOTALLY go out for sushi with you, but the Girl's coming into town on Friday and we already have dinner plans with her normal friend.

But if you were up for sushi twice in one week, then we could go out again with the Girl

Thank you for the fashion reminder. I was entirely into the gauzy skirt/dress thing in high school and it's just not a thing I want to perpetuate

This is why a sensible woman wears a slip. Or multiple petticoats. Or gives up on skirts altogether and clings to her jeans as long as she's allowed.

Sushi on Friday: where?

I was thinking Oga in Natick. Round 7:30-ish or something like that.

Dammit, I am a dip and didn't stop to think about public transit or lack thereof. Me = no car. Must investigate while at work.

I suspect that I will be in NYC on Friday.
I miss you and would welcome other opportunities to do stuff with you, though.

P.S. I saw your weekend posts and laughed over the short bike trail discovery and boggled over the possibility of someone living in MA unaware that we have gay marriage. But I didn't comment. Does that mean I didn't properly celebrate?

I was tempted by the call to sushi, but the flight there and back was a little unlikely. Maybe some other time.

While your company is always a draw, I'm afraid I'm one of those rare and truly odd individuals who doesn't like sushi in the least.

I am like until Bey in the not-liking of sushi. Though I can usually find other things to eat. My problem is that Fridays are Pygment's class nights and I am home doing kidcare and so not going out. Do indeed like the gauzy skirts oh yes.
