Dec. 14th, 2011 08:10 pmI just finished making another batch of ganache, but I have the terrible feeling that I'm going to have to throw it out and start over again tomorrow. Initial tasting indicates that I took a wrong turn on the way to "hedonistically boozy" and wound up at "impending liver cirrhosis." Too much Grand Marinier, which, for those of you playing along at home, is the one ingredient I do not need to restock. I doctored the substance with dairy products and (*shudder*) corn syrup, but I'm not seeing the improvement I was hoping for.
