We Are Okay

danceboy and I, because I was bleeding. We spent a very long time there, with monitors strapped on to my belly, and the upshot of the whole experience is as follows:
1. Baby is fine.
2. Placenta is badly placed (now a partial previa), but appears normal and functional (i.e., not shearing off or containing blood clots or anything).
3. They think bed rest is generally overrated, but have put me on pelvic rest.
My plan for tonight had been to hit Diesel, and I don't know what will actually happen - the reason not to is that poordanceboy was in the hospital with me until three a.m. and he didn't get a bed, and he may need backup.
