Looking Up

Apparantly, according to some mathematical formula and quasi-scientific reasoning thing that some guy did somewhere, yesterday was the most depressing day of the year.

I hope that guy is right, and the year only improves.

Everything Happens All At Once

1. I am definitely having a miscarriage. No question, no doubt.
2. Yesterday, someone threatened danceboy on the T, with bonus highly credible "and I know where you live" detail to make it extra alarming.
3. My youngest niece has been hospitalized with pneumonia.

I don't so much feel like this week is fired, as I feel like going after this week with an axe. It is a bad week. It is hurting us.

I hear that we have a new president, and that he gave a speech that makes the people in my house who listened to the radio today think of Josiah Bartlett. If this week was not the week when all my family's troubles hit at once, I would probably be pretty interested in that.
