Happiness, Day 3. (Day 2 Still Pending)

The Middleman makes me happy. Once upon a time, it was just a comic book, and then it was a tv show on ABC Family, and they don't yet know whether there will ever be a second season. There is no question that there *should* be a second season.

The show has everything. Wit. Charm. Heroes. Villains. The frustrating search for a temp job. Self-referential art student angst. Cute girls. Cool fighting. We are going to have to show it to Danger Lad! when we run out of Buffy.

As an added bonus, the show passes the Bechdel Test by a broad and effortless margin. The women on the show talk to each other the way that humans beings do when they have the time, necessity, or inclination. I wish that wasn't rare in modern media, but it kind of is.

I need a shirt that says "French Cuisine Kills Bunnies."
