Not Christmas, Now With Toddlers!
Dec. 6th, 2008 01:44 pmSo, in thinking about our holiday plans this year, we thought we'd like to throw a not-a-Christmas party, as we have sometimes done in the past. We thought we'd like to throw it sort of early, say, from around 2 to around 8 in the afternoon. We thought we'd like to do it at our own house, where we won't have to apologize to anyone when our child spills red wine on the rug. And we thought, also, that we'd invite you people. We're having a Not-A-Christmas Party!
To recap the salient details:
Who: La Famille Vermicelli (which includes
danceboy,
schr0dinger, and
jesse_in_boston)
Where: The Sweatshop. Drop us a note if you need directions.
When: December 25, 2 - 8 p.m.
Why: Because we have it off work and everything's closed.
Agenda: Maybe some movies, maybe some games, definitely some food and good conversation. If you want to watch or play something specific, bringing it along improves the odds.
Terms and Conditions:
Children are most explicitly and enthusiastically welcome. The house is mostly toddler childproof. Unaccompanied children will be given espresso and a puppy.
RSVPs are not required, but do help us plan appropriately for food and drink.
Please give us a shout before bringing along anyone we've never met.
We have three cats, medicate accordingly.
No smoking in the house.
Psychodrama will be televised.
