This And That

1. I am making Chicken Tikka Masala, on a whim based on having all the ingredients and being hungry. The problem is that now I cannot tear myself from the kitchen, where I have nothing to do except glower at the meat thermometer. Watched chicken never broils.

2. A car flipped over outside our house last night. I heard the noise and saw the aftermath. It was pretty spectacular. Luckily, no one was hurt. Also luckily, the bunny slept through it, or I might have done something to ameliorate the lack of hurting. When you flip your car, they don't flip it back over to tow it away. They get one of those flatbed trucks to come, and they drag the car onto it upside down.

3. I am reading A Random Walk Down Wall Street, and noting that it appears that everything my father ever told me about investing appears to have been wrong. I am grateful that my parents' retirement funds are in the hands of professionals.

It is Wednesday. I am not entirely prepared for Thursday, but I need people to email me things before I can fix that.
