Grocery Store Blues

Once upon a time, I knew that I shouldn't grocery shop while hungry.

I now know that I also shouldn't grocery shop while tired, stressed, premenstrual, plotting a seduction of any kind, in close proximity to a predicted snowstorm, or on Sunday.

I tried to boil all these down into a simpler statement, a single, easy-to-recall, acid test. The best I could come up with "Don't grocery shop."

Unfortunately, this is not an option.
