Mar. 7th, 2005 10:13 pmTwo weeks ago, I bought a whole bunch of yummy dark red yarn for a sweater. Then I thought about how long it takes me to make a sweater. It takes a long time. I rolled up my yarn from hanks into balls and thought "man, this is dumb. By the time I'm done making this thing, it will be too warm to wear it."
Perhaps for exactly that reason, since then, I have been knitting frantically. I have had this yarn for *exactly* two weeks, I'm finished the back of the sweater, and I'm tackling the bust shaping on the front. I'm over half done. I can probably finish the front by the end of the week, and then I'm casting on both sleeves at once.
