I made jam. And then I restored the kitchen to it's starting conditions.

I feel entitled to a lie-down and some well-bred hysterics.

White Flower Farm says that UPS should deliver my flowers today. We shall see how that goes.

you made jam? wow. i've never made jam before in my life. i'd like to try that, but not if it really requires a lie-down and some hysterics. ;->

altho, right now you are certainly entitled. actually, every woman i know is always entitled to a lie-down and some hysterics.

The jam making went fine. It involved a lot more standing than I find comfy these days - if I had it all to do over, I'd have worn sneakers. The post-jam cleaning required some mild hysterics. I was a little surprised by the range of splatter and the stickiness thereof, but I'm very glad I cleaned right away - it would have been worse if I left it.
