Dream Guys

Early this morning, I dreamt that I had just begun a relationship with two new people. I was enjoying it a lot. I had that whole new relationship buzz going when I woke up, and chose to hit the snooze alarm because I thought, with just a few more minutes, I could round everyone up for some important conversations.

I got some good snuggles from the imaginary boys in those eight minutes, and when the alarm went off again, I was still pretty buzzed. A nice way to start the morning, except that we hadn't managed to have the important conversations, and in my dream, I hadn't cleared the imaginary boys with [personal profile] danceboy, and he seemed sort of justifiably miffed. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to have relationship-defining conversations with three separate people while wrangling a baby and re-wallpapering an imaginary apartment in time for a party. Anyway. I filed it, mentally, as stuff to work on with [personal profile] danceboy and the imaginary boys, and off I went, planning an afternoon nap to wind up these details.

By the time I got to daycare, I had realized that [personal profile] danceboy (also imaginary for these purposes) was probably more than miffed. And that the imaginary boys were planning to move, and seemed to have some issues in their primary relationships.

My entire imaginary relationship went from NRE to dumb psychodrama in under an hour.

[personal profile] danceboy says this is silly. He says I should nap. He also says that next time I wake up all NRE buzzed, I could wake him.
