I have plants coming - galanthus and ipheion and peonies. Here's hoping that I can (a) make progress vs. the weeds, (b) finally acheive the gorgeous spring view from the bathroom window that has been my goal lo these many years, and (c) defeat the ongoing invasion of lily-of-the-valley.

In other news, my desk plant has aphids. How the hell does an indoor plant pick up aphids?

Not knowing. But I do sympathize: everytime I have bought or have been given mini-rose plants, they get aphids. And none of my other indoor plants get them. Weird.

The one miniature rose I've ever had that didn't get aphids got horrible fungus.

I think this plant will have to be retired. I am not bringing insecticide to work.
